Clinical Corner Returns!

I am excited to announce the return of Clinical Corner – Sunrise Medical Canada's monthly blog that features clinical seating and mobility topics! We heard from so many of you that you were sorry to see Clinical Corner retire in June of 2020. We heard you when you told us that you like to have Canadian clinical content in one central location on our website. As a result, we have answered the call to bring back Clinical Corner!

Sunrise Medical will continue to offer blog articles and other resources under the global Education in Motion section of our website, written by our global clinical education team, including me! I encourage you to continue to read the blogs, resources and case stories and to view the videos prepared by the global clinical team. Our global team is comprised of clinicians with various backgrounds and areas of special interest who share their knowledge with our world-wide audience.

When I was writing Clinical Corner, numerous therapists emailed me with suggestions for topics for the blog. I ask that you resume doing that! Please let me know what you would like to read more about in future Clinical Corner articles. Often, these same blog article topics are incorporated into topics for our monthly Cyber Series – clinical webinars on seating and mobility.

Thank you to everyone who reached out to ask for the return of our Canadian clinical blog! I am very happy to be writing Clinical Corner again! I look forward to hearing from you and to resuming clinical blog articles next month.

Please send your comments, questions, and suggestions for Clinical Corner topics to Sheilagh Sherman, OT Reg. (Ont.) at Thank you!

Note: Sheilagh is unable to answer questions from members of the general public. Members of the general public are directed to their own therapists or other health care professionals to ask questions regarding needs.
